Empowering Communities Through Our Initiatives

Easton Resident Business Centre

The future home of Young Voices with Action is in the design phase. The newly constructed Easton Resident-Business Centre will consist of four retail spaces for minority owned businesses and sixteen residential apartments.

Lotus Ave Home Rehabilitation

YVWA has adopted the 5300 block of Lotus Ave to restore derelict homes into occupied ones. We aim to increase homeownership by increasing wealth and creating a safer and more beautified neighborhood.

Rachel R. Grady Home Repair Program (Wellston Only)

YVWA has received funding to offer minor home repair services to seniors, disabled persons and veterans in the City of Wellston. This effort is part of the Anti Displacement Fund launched by community partners that focuses on aging in place.

Etzel Heights Improvement Initiative

YVWA is working to secure vacant parcels in the Etzel Heights neighborhood forne home construction. Grounds have been used for dumping and has excessive overgrowth causing safety concerts. We aim to develop affordable housing and maintain the beauty of the existing neighborhood.

Help students demonstrate their impact of African culture, increase your
academic performance and train you for career/work. We aim to increase confidence in self through tutoring and mentorship
